Who God says I am Affirmations for Women

August was a rough month for me. With no notice, my 9-5 was gone and I back to the job market.

Even with multiple interviews and prospective jobs. I was furious. The anger haunted me.

Be angry and do not sin; do not let the sun go down on your anger, and give no opportunity to the devil. Ephesians 4:26-27

I knew a job change would be a blessing. But there was still a part of me, that could not understand how callous people can be.

Don't get me wrong I have worked in Human Resources for over 5 years. So, I have terminated more people than I can count. But I have never been excited or unimpacted by it.

It doesn't bring me joy to negatively impact another's person livelihood. In the last few years, I have always prayed before each termination and asked God to help me to be a light.

Now I find myself praying to once again be a light. Ask God to remove this anger. Satan would love for me to live here in this darkness.

For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope. Jeremiah 29:11

But I have already been set free. Even in the midst of the storm, I see the hands of God working in my life. Because I know he always has a plan for my welfare.

You know what got me through? Affirmations. Reminding myself of who I am in Christ. Which inspired, my I am affirmation cards.
