Rebuilding Walls: Embracing God's Purpose and Faith Like Nehemiah

The Book of Nehemiah is a truly pivotal text, offering profound insights into purpose and faith. As I delved into its pages, particularly through the lens of the Her Purpose Her Power devotional and the His Plan Her PurposePlanner and Workbook, the Holy Spirit highlighted so much.

I deeply admire Nehemiah's love, courage, and determination. There's no denying that Nehemiah wasn't the first to hear about the destruction of Jerusalem's walls. However, he was indeed the chosen vessel God used to serve the people and facilitate the rebuilding of that vital wall.

“As soon as I heard these words I sat down and wept and mourned for days, and I continued fasting and praying before the God of heaven.” Nehemiah‬ ‭1‬:‭4‬ ‭ESV‬‬

As the king's cupbearer, Nehemiah was undoubtedly his most trusted employee. Surely, he could have asked the king for anything. Yet, Nehemiah's faithfulness to God and his profound love for his people transformed his burden into powerful action. He courageously took on the role of leader in the monumental task of rebuilding the wall.

Bestie, God wants you to rebuild the "wall" He has called you to.

And why does He desire this? Not for your personal gain, not to enhance your resume, and not simply to expand your sphere of influence. He desires you to do it because of LOVE.

  • Love for Him.
  • Love for those He has gifted you to do life with.
  • Love that desires restoration for all of God's people.

The crucial question for you becomes: What burden weighs on your heart? What is that specific area where you can use your unique gifts and resources to boldly serve the will of God?

If you're unsure or seeking clarity, I prayerfully invite you to consider ordering the Her Power, Her Purpose Bundle.

I genuinely believe God has gifted me to walk alongside busy, everyday Christian women, helping to propel them forward in their pursuit of purpose and intentionality. I am confident this bundle will equip you to do exactly that.
