All so often on this blog I create resources on this blog to help me in my own spiritual journey. Every time you all respond or visit these post often, I am so surprised.
This post is just a simple reminder of who God says you are. Though this post was originally published on April 25, 2019, it is one of my most popular blog post. I'm thrilled to have confirmation that I am not the only one who needs the reminder.
During this COVID-19 pandemic I found myself needing these reminders even more. There were so many unknown when the crisis began, and I still think there is a lot of information we will not known for years to come. Which is why I found myself leaning on these verses from Psalm 91.
I pray that during this pandemic you and your family are safe, healthy, and creating a stronger relationship with Christ.
I often remind myself of the plagues, famine, and violence that occurred in the bible and it helps me to remember that I should not be surprised or afraid. If God was with Habakkuk during the invasion by the Chaldean people. He is with us.
There is nothing that we experience on this earth that is a surprise to God. Even more than that there is nothing that occurs that is out of his control.
We just need to wait and trust his timing. Because he will resolve it, that is just the God we serve. A God of perfect timing, mercy, and resolution.
If you are like me and still need a daily reminder that you can carry with you. Then order your Who God says I am scripture card set, 24 cards set with affirmation, scriptures, and prayers.
I am forever thankful for the encouragement from the word, especially on dreary, tough, or chaotic days. Being able to clearly and quickly read how God sees us. Helps us to reaffirms God's word.
This is a reminder that we are worthy children of the Highest God. In times when you're in need of validation, I pray these words to give your life purpose. Because there is no shame in needing a reminder.
I pray these verses to uplift your spirit. God willing it speaks to the part of your soul that needs to hear it most.
